Tara Peters, CRNP
Ms. Peters is a native of Johnstown and a 2009 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing. After passing state boards, she worked for five years at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center – three of which were spent taking care of the sick children admitted to the Pediatric Unit. During this time, she completed training at the University of Pittsburgh in their Family Nurse Practitioner Program. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014, she obtained national certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in Family Practice and joined the PCS team. During her masters training, Ms. Peters completed an elective of over 120 hours of clinical practicum in Pediatrics in Pediatric Care Specialists’ several offices. She currently lives in Somerset, PA with her husband and two daughters.
